AHMADBEIGI
senior audio producer
I’m an independent and contract producer with 6+ years of experience with clients like audible, somethin’ else/sony, storycorps, linkedin and lw&c.
I’m the producer you call to help you define the vision, come up with a production plan, and execute the project expertly from start to finish.
about my work
I’m a generalist by nature and a collaborator at heart, but I’m also comfortable flying solo.
I do it all for my contract clients—show development, booking, field & studio interviewing & production, scripting, host coaching, editing, and sound design. I bring professionalism, adaptability, and a strong editorial instinct.
What draws me to a project? The possibility to work with great people and capture a kernel of truth. I don’t discriminate by subject, format, or even genre. If there’s something valuable and real we can offer an audience, I’m all in and ready to experiment.
creative practice
Alongside my contract work, I maintain an independent creative practice. I work in documentary, memoir, and at the intersection of fiction and nonfiction. I’m a storyteller, poet, diarist, family historian, and an Iranian immigrant.
I believe stories can shape culture, and I strive to do meaningful work that moves us toward collective self-awareness, empathy, and power.
background
I’m a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, a former Union Docs Pod Pod Resident, and in the current cohort of the Woodward Residency. I graduated from NYU with my bachelors in Social & Cultural Analysis, and minor in Poetry.
In a past life, I worked in human rights. I got my first taste of audio storytelling through my unforgettable year as the Site Manager of the StoryCrops Mobile tour.
